OK, here is the deal, on Saturday, I intend to go a few hours south
and se about rescuing a VW pickup from the crusher. This was a
truck that apparently was towed behind an Arizona RV and then
abandoned in Austin, Texas some years ago when the RV broke down and
had to be towed. I really don't have the time or space for another
project but I just can't let it go to the crusher if the body is in
good shape. Of course I won't know for sure until I get there. He
says the motor turns over by hand but starter won't engage. From the
few pictures I have it looks OK but we all know how misleading
pictures can be. ANYWAY, to the point, IF I do get this truck, I
will want to turn it around fairly quickly to someone who has the
time to do it right. SOOOOO if anyone might be interested, just let
me know. After I go down on Saturday, I will either come back home
with it or it will stay where it is. Either way, I will post again
to let everyone know about it. Hayden
