  Good friend bought a Focus...  For the price and the mileage. HA! 
He gets lower to mid 30's on the highway and mid 20's maybe, in 
town and this is no stop and go traffic, just town/city.  :-(  He likes 
the sounds of a TDI except for the price/budget factor for him.
