[Vwdiesel] auto trans in Norway

It was interesting to note on a recent trip that all my Norwegian
relatives drove standard transmissions except one that had limited use
of the right arm.  My cousin had a Seat (Spanish VW) diesel and Uncle
a Peogeot diesel.  Gas was $6 a gallon and diesel about 20% less.
They also tax based on HP and smaller cars are in.  My 52 hp Jetta
would be real economical to own there too.
