[Vwdiesel] Diesel engine swaps

I like diesels. Otherwise I wouldn't be visiting & contributing to this site. I like the idea of putting a Nissan Maxima diesel into a 1937 Chev. pickup. However, I would not recommend installing one in a Mustang unless you want to keep it for your own use. Those into collecting Mustangs either want to keep them as origional as possible or want to hotrod them. I had thought of putting one into a '46 or '47 Hudson Commodore 6 I have but I probably wouldn't drive it enough to justify the cost in fuel savings. I am probably one of the few that would be interested in a Mustang converted to a diesel. If you do such a conversion, try to keep it looking as stock as possible outside the engine compartment.
