  Dad and I had only ever heard good things about the 4.3 V-6 diesel.  
Interesting since it was basically 3/4 of a 5.7 diesel.  Guess it was 
completely ground up.  Only issue I ever heard of had something to 
do with the starters and being crammed up against the firewall.
