Well, there is always something new to learn. That Dodge V-6 diesel slopped under my radar screen. This is the first I had heard of it & would like to know more about that engine. I wonder if that could be the same V-6 diesel GM used in the front drive Olds Ceria& I think, some other models that shared that same front wheel drive platform in the early '80s. How good was that V-6 GM diesel? During that period of time I was down on American cars & especially GM because of their other examples of "quality" such as the THM 200 Hydromantic, V-8-6-4 Cadillac, Chevy Vega & more. I did recall of hearing of some diesel conversions of the Plymouth/Dodge slant 6 gas engine. In 1972 I bought a new Citroen DJX-21 station wagon which I still own. In 1983 I bought a new Nissan Sentra diesel which I drove for 50,000 miles & then sold when I bought a new Mazda 626 diesel at a bargain price because at that time, Americans were down on diesels. I keep track of my MPG from tank to tank & out of curiosity, added up every gallon of diesel I put into that Sentra & the overall average including lots of LA driving was 42+ MPG!
