[Vwdiesel] TDI immobilizer

[David Cook]

The immobilizer is a chip that the engine's computer
needs to get a signal from to allow the engine to
start and run.  There is a chip in the key, and, IIRC,
the reciever is in the instrument cluster.

They were basically introduced at the same time as the
switchblade style keys.  So, I don't think that the
TDIs up to the 99.5 Jettas had them.
