[Vwdiesel] Key battery?

Yeah, the rear fogs, good idea really, I added them to my golf. The
wifes volvo had them,pretty neat idea. Now about the key thing, I
always thought it was just a resistor built into the key, with such a
wide variety of resistance values available, it would make sense to use
something like that, but hey, I won't buy anything newer than 1988, or
at least thats how it looks right now LOL. so I just bypass the switch
if anything goes wrong LOL. But with the way fuel prices are and the
mileage we get with our little diesels, I bet we will see a rise in
theft of these little gems.
