[Vwdiesel] biodiesel requiring a rebuilt injection pump on an '84 Rabbit

I was thinking...
  The european volkswagon diesels have the proper hoses, would that mean all other rubber in the line of fuel would be too?
   
  It's the methanol in biodiesel that is the rubbers enemy. 
   
  I never did find out how much more harmeful the low concentrations of methanol in bio diesel are compared to dinodiesel which also apparently is harmful to rubber.
   
   
  If you want to get rid of the methanol in it, heat it to the vapour rate (temp?)of methanol. 
   
  Apparently if you let it sit long enough (time ?) it will evaporate , I would assume you stir it once in a while for both.
   
  I didn't do this the last time I was in production , but now that I have the extra space I will.
