[Vwdiesel] looking for part number on VDO sender for oil temp on 1.6TD

It depends on the gauge range - if using a 250F oil gauge, you can use the water
temp sender, the ohms range is the same. With the 300F VDO gauge that I
have, I used oil temp sender #323-423, which is M10x1, and looks like coolant
temp sender except with a long silver probe, maybe 3/4" long. #323-057 which is
1/8-27 NPT would also work, as the tapered threads will still seal in M10x1 hole.
There is also a VW part # which will work, used on Corrados, etc with stock oil
temp gauges.
