[Vwdiesel] super charging a diesel

Ok, not being one to believe everything I see ... I saw on ebay what 
amounts to a high speed fan that you put in line with your intake to 
force more air into the engine, apparently with enough volume to 
increase performance. I sent the guy a message asking about it and of 
course he said it would work. Any thoughts about this, and has anyone 
ever seen any numbers regarding how much air the 1.6 sucks in under 
load.
