[Vwdiesel] ECO diesel intake size?

I know that my ECO diesels intake to the turbo is a little bigger than 2".
But narrows down as it goes to the intake of the K14 turbo. The inside
diameter of the intake is the size of the outside diameter of the turbos
intake. As for the exact size I will have to go out and measure it. Since
I'm on my way to work I don't have a chance to measure it but can today some
time and will let you know when I get home.

I've never seen an ECO diesel up close, but have a K14 turbo from one on
my Westy. It has a much smaller turbo intake than the regular turbos, so I
was wondering what the rest of the plumbing looks like. ETKA shows the
same airbox, but the hose to the turbo is different. How much smaller is the

ECO one?

I'm trying to get a feel for what is the minimum acceptable intake hose
diameter for a 1.6TD running up to 15psi of boost. I may need to run across
the (Vanagon) engine bay, which means 4-6' of tubing before the airbox. I
was hoping to use 2" rigid PVC to save space.
