Well a subject I am very familiar with. First, you "should " be able to
bring it from canada, I believe I saw it on the customs list for cars
that can be brought in from Canada, The only bad news is that in order
to import a car from lets say the UK. I has to be AT LEAST 25 years
old, if it's 24 years 11 months and 30 days, it will meet one of 2
fates, either they impound it and crush it, or they ship it back , in
either case, they send you the bill. I'm currently in process of
importing a Reliant Robin from the UK and am intimately familiar with
the customs "hoops" you must jump through, on a side note, it really
isn't that expensive to have a car shipped from a port in the UK to NYC
or NJ.
