how so? it will reduce the amount of time that air has to get into the
cylinders--and since the intake valve will close earlier, it may close
before the cylinder has reached max volume, creating some vacuum in
the cylinder at that point and reducing compression a little bit at
max just because there's less air in there overall--but I don't think
the reduction would be great enough to prevent starting, right?
certainly power will be down until the valves get full lift after
their lifters are pumped up, but since the valves obviously won't be
leaking at all, I'd think you'd at least be able to get it to fire off
if all else was working properly.
