[Vwdiesel] Air Filter

Well for some great reason the ECO jetta is different in the air filter
size.  I just looked up on the Fram web site to get an idea of air filters
and it called for the C3373 air filter for my jetta under diesel, but the
air filter that I have is way wider than the one called for. So I looked up
the puralator air filter I have in there and it crossed to a CA6545 which is
the gas version air filter for a 91 jetta.  So why is it that I have a gas
version air box?  It has not been changed from what I can tell.  Does anyone
else have this same size filter?  Any other ECO's out there with a different
air filter?  Just curious as to why they did this.  I like the gas filter
because it seems to be a little bigger than the one that is suppose to be in
there.
