Are ALL the antivibration clamps in place on the injector lines?
If so then shrug your shoulders and fix/replace the line. :-( Not
sure that it's anything but time and Murphy at work if all the clamps
are in place and the lines haven't been twisted or bent.
You said cold. How cold? Sluggish behavior and rough running
are sytoms of fuel gelling. Shouldn't be a problem at the 25 to 30F
you mentioned but if it's actually colder than that...
My Rabbit was the first car on "the place" to freeze up the first
year I had it. About 25F was enough to park me at an idle! Turned
out I had a couple less than tight but in no way loose, hose clamps
on the fuel supply side. I checked and snugged them all and it was
then the LAST diesel on the place to freeze up. A partially plugged
fuel filter could sure contribute as well. Bio gells at higher temps
than dino as I understand it so add it all up and that could easily do
it.
