[Vwdiesel] Block Heater Replacement

Hey all-

I think my block heater went kaput last spring (thank
goodness...) but I forgot all about it until a couple
weeks ago while working on the tie rods and looking up
at it.  

It is also seeping coolant just a little bit.


So, I need to replace it.  Question is, on a
factory/dealer installed heater, is there anything
crazy about pulling it out?  I noticed that it looked
like there were notches on the outside that something
might engage to turn it out, and I didn't notice a
bolt like in the center of the heater I installed in
my Corrado's block.  Doesn't mean the bolt wasn't
there, but I didn't see it.

Anyway, any hints to swapping it out?
