Maybe this is why I do all my own work. "An Audi what?, Never seen one like 
that before. Yeah, we can fix it"

Anyhow, I'd strongly suggest you remove the transaxle and flange, and check 
it closely. This may also require removal and teardown of the final drive. 
At that point, it may be cheaper and easier to just change it for a used 
one. But, I'd definately check the flange and see why it is seperating from 
the trans. That is obviously a huge problem.
