I have been using Amsoil synthetic oils in my vehicles ever since I became a dealer back in 1974 & have been very satisfied with their synthetic oil products. Amsoil's policy has been to make the best oil possible, provided the oil is affordable & then price it accordingly rather than set a specific price & skimp on the quality to meet the price. I think there are other good synthetics out there & it is possible that using Amsoil results in overkill, especially if you are one who insists on changing oil every 3,000 to 6,000 miles rather than to follow Amsoil's extended drain intervals. From what I have seen in the past, Amsoil would always easily meet the highest grade then available. If was the highest grade then available but could not rate an oil at G, H, I, if specifications for that grade were not available at the time the oil was produced. If you are interested in finding out more about Amsoil products, go to www.amsoil.com & if you can not find the answer to your questions, email or phone their technical service department. If you want to purchase any Amsoil products you have to go thru a dealer unless you are one yourself. If you don't have a dealer to go to, you can order on line provided you have a credit card & use my dealer number which is "ZO 2185". Amsoil is sold on a multi level basis & If you want to become a dealer, please contact me & I can sign you up. It would pay to become a dealer if you have many vehicles you want to use Amsoil in, want to sell to others, or want to recruit other dealers. If you wish to buy any Amsoil products on line using my dealer number I would appreciate you letting me know who you are & letting me know how much you are buying. Also, if you have any questions, ask me & I will try & answer them as best as I can, especially if you think the info would be of interest to other VW diesel fans..
