[Vwdiesel] Diesel Cabby-Maybe for sale, thoughts on TD Conversion?

I appreciate the thoughts. I am not thinking of
putting in a whole new engine. I am thinking of
adding a turbo to the engine that is in there right
now.
I am aware of the caveats of putting a turbo on a NA
engine. I was planning on putting together a "manual"
of sorts to go with the car outlining the conversion
and tuning the engine to use the turbo properly would
be one of the things included.
I'm thinking I have a source to buy a turbo setup for
300-400ish.
I don't know what it will sell for, though I know that
good looking diesel rabbits go for a nice price, and I
know that running Cabbys also go for a good price. I
think the uniqueness and economy of such a car will go
pretty well. 8K might be a little optomisitc.
However, I don't have a whole lot of money in the car
yet, probably only something like $1500 so it
shouldn't be too hard to make a profit.
Thanks,
David
