[Vwdiesel] Vwdiesel hard starting

I recently had trouble starting or not starting at all. It turned out
to be a bad ground on the battery cable where it bolts to the
transmission. Now it turnes over faster and also corrected some
warning lights going on for no apparant reason.
An unrelated subject, I just painted a vw with base coat clear coat
for the first time. Always used acrylic enamal. Now I am sold on the
base coat as it was easier than I thot and not really any more
expensive.
