[Vwdiesel] dash mounted clocks

When the clock in my wife's Dasher quit working I discovered that an 
electrolytic capacitor on the circuit board inside the clock had gone 
bad.  After replacing the capacitor the clock kept excellent time.

replacing capacitors on computer main boards but the principal is the same.
