leverage and they popped right out.

I am not familiar with the heat shield issue yet but from some of the tools
you are talking about I have a suggestion. Dentists have similiar sounding
tools &when they are worn out or no longer useful form a dentist's
standpoint they will often give them away. You might ask your dentist. My
dentist has given me several which I find useful in the garage.
