  I'd check the pump input bushing for wear.  If you have your belt 
tension a little tight, that's exactly what it'll do with a worn bushing.
If it's a LOT tight it can do that with a good bushing!  Remember, the 
shaft/sprocket will only wobble in exactly one direction when you 
check it for wobble, since it's a bushing.

  Why the regrets about having the mount done elsewhere?
