[Vwdiesel] TDI non-start

I think I have fuel right away, because the fuel fog is emitted
from the tail pipe right away, upon cranking. Fuel is at the filter,
and the bubble content in the clear line is very low to nil.
That tells me that the shutoff is not a factor as well.
I'll get compression numbers on it soon, but I'll eat an old oil filter
if that's the problem, because the economy is good, and once it
fires up, it instantly runs smooth. It just doesn't behave
like an engine with poor compression.
