No real help but kind of a direction and thoughts...
Gasoline is DESIGNED to go bad basically. Just as it's designed
to not fully evaporate below something like 600F as I recall. One
big difference is aviation gas. It'll keep and keep and keep, doesn't
sour, doesn't varnish, burns more evenly...
Not that I KNOW it's designed to sour but hey, why not. Supposedly
the reason for the high temp evap is so you couldn't use it in
place of what we all use Coleman fuel for now. White gas,
which had more of the better properties from what I understand,
then disappeared. I'm a little young to remember much about
white gas. Just barely remember its existence.
