  Washboard road will tend to make most cars drift sideways a 
little.  You may have a rear wheel out of spec which will make 
things worse easily and it's easy to fix with an alignment... 
shims.  :-)
  Grab the tops of your rear tires and give them a few good 
push/pulls and see if your wheel bearings have gotten loose.  
I find that's often the cause of a "loose" rear end.  Feels a 
lot like low tires or shot shocks.
  Otherwise get under the car with a pry bar and give your 
joints a good looking over.  Also might jack by the body and 
pry between the lower arm and the CV joint/body or such to 
check your ball joints.  They usually just clunk but might as 
well check it all including tie rod ends.  Do like with the rears 
only grab the tires at 9:00 and 3:00 and do the wiggle thing.
