Hi Dave;
	The spare tire holder is a simple steel bar setup that bolts under
the bed. If you can find a dead Rabbit pickup in your local junk yard you
should be able to remove it in minutes. If you can't find one I would go out
to one of my parts trucks and remove one pack it and take it to the UPS or
PO for 20 bucks plus shipping.

Subject: [Vwdiesel] caddy spare tire mount

Hi,

   My spare tire has been lying in the back of my
truck since I bought it. The mount that held the
tired underneath the truck bed was gone. I was
thinking about figuring out a way to mount it on the
front, like peopled used to to do on pickups. I don't
think it would look good and I don't know where I
could find the mount to do that. What does you caddy
owners do with your spare tire.

Thanks

Dave
