[Vwdiesel] Is anyone here running F-100 biodiesel without modifyingthe car?

Well, there might be a few more issues.  Nick is right, however that
the fuel filter is probably the issue that will hit you first as the
biodiesel cleans all of the crud out of your jetta's fuel tank.  I run
B100 for about 8 months out of the year.  Up here in Iowa, I don't run
anything more than B20 in the winter.  Anyway, in my '84 Rabbit, I've
had several things I've had to deal with.  Not only have I replaced
my fuel filter, but after about 6 months of B100, I started having
problems with fuel lines swelling.  So I had to replace those with
Viton (B100 compatible) fuel lines.  That was actually fairly easy to
do. At the same time, your co-worker is correct.  There are no
modifications that need to be done BEFORE putting the B100 in your
tank and running it.  Nick and I are saying, there may be some things
you will need to address AFTER running B100 for a long time.
