OK, made some progress on my "never having free time"
project car.

I removed all the shifter linkage and replaced all
bushings, what a messy job, but it looks great now
that it is all cleaned up. This car has 181K on it,
so it needed these bushing for sure.

Removed the bracket from the steering rack, finding
(1) 13mm and (2) 1/2" bolts. Then I see stamped on
the rack, "Made in USA" so obviosly a re-man rack was
installed at some point on this car.

Drilled out the 2 rivits to replace the shift rod
orange bushing and installed new rivits.

*******************
What do I need to change at the other end of the shift
rod, under the shifter itself? The bushing kits I
have do not seem to have the bushing for the rod going
into the shifter box, but I have a few other bushing
left over.

Thanks, I do not have a good picture of this area
exploded out and my Bentley is for 83-84TD Rabbit and
Caddy.
