It's just a 6 cylinder version of the Audi 5 cylinder engine.
I've seen both go "bores out of spec" in under 100K miles and
I've heard of 250K miles with no problems.
I found one I can HAVE if I want it. About 200K miles, blown
head gasket. He tore it down and has a lot of extra body parts
and such and THINKS he has all the head parts in the basement.
Looks in good shape, just don't really NEED another car. Hard to
resist though!
