[Vwdiesel] Dim Headlights

Hi Ray;
	VW and Audi headlight switches carry the currant to run the
headlights. When you relay the headlights you use the headlight switch to
power the relay which takes very little currant and you use battery currant
direct through the relay to power the headlights. Relays and good grounds
should help the brightness of any stock light setup on our older VW's and
Audi's but after the relay conversion you need to pop for a European Hella
H4 headlight assembly. They aren't cheap and for many applications one might
even say they cost stupid money. If you live in the country I don't know if
one can spend too much on good night lighting. The cost of hitting a deer or
elk that your dim headlight didn't spot might be not only be your car but
also your life.

Hello All, as i am also experiencing this dimming i am curious about the
wiring set up. are you eliminating the light switch, running the current
through the relay which is operated by a toggle somewhere.
