[Vwdiesel] 92 eco diesel (fwd)

In 1991, I didn't really need a new VW. I was having too much fun keeping
a 79, 80 and 84 Rabbit on the road. On a parts run, I looked at the 91
model year. Got home, mentioned it to my wife.

The next day, she was there at the dealer, looking at the 91s. I got
the hard sell. We had two kids. I remember the final argument:

Her:	"Look, it has a fifth seat, so that if we have another kid
	we're still OK."

Me:	"With my luck, we'd have twins."

Then I started hearing about the ECOs in 92. I started thinking that a
turbo would be increased complexity, and a maintenance headache (cost).
I have since learned otherwise. So I decided, under pressure from my
wife, that buying a 91, without a turbo might be better than waiting
the 4 or 5 years I thought I could wait until buying another car.

I bought the car, and it sat relatively unused for 5 years. I think it had
10K miles in 96.

Oh, and we had twins, in 1992.
