5000's weren't available quattro till the 1986 model year, I believe. 
Anyhow, '85 at the earliest. The UrQ came here starting in '82, though.

As far as I know, no Audi's were available with diesel and Quattro at the 
same time. I believe the 4000's quit coming diesel just as Quattro became 
available, and the 5000 was only available diesel in the Type 43 chassis, 
which ended with the '83 model year.
