Yes inspection holes are a good idea. Are you sure that the soft bit of
hose is not purposeful and helps to absorb vibrations of engine. Imagine if
the pipe actually hardened; how long would it last that way? I'm just
guessing of course...
Crud on the aluminium pipe on head might be the source of a leak there. One
of the nastiest places to work on in the Quantum/Dasher set up in my
oppinion...
