 So I have some questions?
>What pressure is my Dasher diesel's cooling system supposed to maintain? Does the Screw on plastic "radiator cap" maintain the pressure or is there a pressure release valve somewhere else in the system? How would I test the plastic "radiator cap" to see if is working OK?
>After finishing this, I will see if I can get it started. Since it ran before I replaced the head gasket & installed the 12mm studs, I don't see why it shouldn't run now. What is the best way to see if the injectors are getting fuel? Loosen the injector pipes a little?

William,

Yes, loosen the pipes at the injectors.

Most cooling systems run 12 - 15 psi. To test the cap you need an adapter that it will screw in to. THen just use a conventional cooling system pressure tester.

The cap does have a pressure relief built into it. It is generally about 15 - 17 psi, IIRC. There is no additional pressure release in the system.
