[Vwdiesel] cranking problem

Anyone who lives near Tallahassee or Perry Florida who knows a great deal about the diesels is welcome to meet me withtheir tools to help me adjust the linkage and bleed
the injection system either this weekend or mon tuesday of next week.if you have a good
expertese I will pay you foryou time.
1981 VW Caddy
1984 1.6 litre diesel Rabbit engine
5 speed Jetta tranny
"stumbles" as if wants to start, but does not...
will not start if the pump advance for cold weather is used (seems to load up and a cloud of
fuel is released our the exhaust
recently within the pst 7 months has had the front injector pump replaced.....
pump leaks a little from other place(s)?
has a low boost electric pump in line on the fuel system under the truck

I took the rotor to a shop that turned it for $8. The pads were fine.
Put it all back together Tuesday evening and all is well now. And you
are quite right Nick. I think the chances of me making this mistake
again are not very good. :-)
