[Vwdiesel] OBDC II connector - 97 Golf

next to to the ashtray with a goofy picture on it- looks like a tiny 
motor in relief with arrows going to and away from it, representing 
stray electrons leaving and being replenished from your laptop..

or is it under the shifter boot.
I forget.
Look in those places, I can look at mine tomorrow dan.
