To those who responded re: my condition.

I'm stable, still able to wrench, and my MD, who's wife works in a stroke
prevention clinic, opened a back door and got me in next week ..

((The Canadian social medicine situation is an train-wreck, especially in
Ontario. Don't let it happen to you))

I just wish I could recover some of the money that has been extorted from me
to provide for my "health" over the years.

I may be able to get a cat scan quickly (if they can catch the cat) but if I
need an MRI, will probably have to buy one in Quebec, where larceny still
thrives in enteprenurial  hands.

Sometimes you CAN get a better deal from the mob!

Yes, I am on a mid-level thinner, but not the really good stuff (single
malt) yet.

Anyway, I still have 3 grandkids and 3 Volks that need my attention.

Typing skills have improved today.
