Likely nobody has documented the gear ratios, probably listed in a 
Bentley manual some place.  Mostly with the transaxles, the first N-1 
gears are the same or very close and the only one that changes a lot is 
N (N = 4 or 5).  I usually shift mine in the 3K-4K RPM range when 
looking for decent acceleration, but on the flats, especially in town, 
I'll use the shift light to shift to the next gear, for example 4th 
above 30 MPH (4-speed transaxle).  If I go strictly by the shift light, 
the RPMs drop too far for the next gear change and the engine doesn't 
sound too happy.
