Supposedly verified, but not by me, the part number for the later model oil
pump with the 36mm gears that fits the diesel engines is 068 115 105ANZ.
Longer bolts are needed.

Subject:	[Vwdiesel] Oil Pump Let down by Parts Place

Well I thought last week end I would update my oil pump to the 36MM pump on
my 85 Jetta. After a week and a half no show I made the long distance call
to check only to find out it was back ordered. When I ordered it the sales
person verified my home number to call if any issues, well no calls
recieved. When
I called yesterday the customer service first claimed I only ordered it on
Monday and it was shipped on Tuesday. When pushed he saw the order was Last
Tuesday and held until they recieved the oil pump. My order arrived
yesterday and NO oil pump.

I had some issues in the past and dealt with it but this is the last time. I
only figured I would use Parts Place for the pump to make sure it was the
for a later year engine and not my 85. I also wanted to be sure my old bolts
would be usable. So I gave them the chance.

So my question is if I order a 86 up pump will that be the 36MM and will my
bolts be long enough?
