Sprayed only at the head of the bolt. Didn't know they went all the way thru. Your suggestion is much better. Will remember if I have to do the right side.I hope to get back to work on the Dasher tomorrow. Will keep all of you advised of problems, sucesses, etc. Since my Dasher is a Calif. car, the rust isn't the problem of a rust belt car. I used to live in Minn. so I know what rust is. 
If any of you are interested in how to modify the heater of an aircooled type one Bettle so that it runs so warm that you have to open the vent window at -20 F I will tell you how to do it. I did so in Minn. 49 years ago on a then new '57 Bettle. No gas heater either.
