[Vwdiesel] Oil dip dtick degrade.

Don't know if anyone's mentioned it yet or not, but
Glycerin (like you get at walgreens, etc to add to
soap to make bubbles for children) is supposed to help
protect rubber and let it re-swell up a bit.

Read that on the Cabriolet list.
