[Vwdiesel] lubin' the cable

I had to replace the throttle cable on the wifes '86 vanagon while on 
the side of the highway while on vacation. Not fun when you don't have 
a replacement handy. I had to get quite inventive to say the least. It 
had been dragging just a little for a couple weeks from what the wife 
told me after it SNAPPED, Upon inspection of the cable casing, the 
dragging was most likely from the hole the cable had worn through the 
outer casing. I would strongly suggest replacing the cable.
