  You're probably thinking of Brys.  How I miss that guy!  Bought 
my second 914, in really quite good shape, for $600 from him!  
Didn't need it, just too cheap to pass up!  I heard L&I got on 
him and it ended up shutting him down.  Not sure about that 
though.

Gerry's Foreign leans toward VW also.  I had their number here
