Here's my sol'n. Tried watchmaker's screwdrivers; but notable to do the small terminals.
Baked bean tins proved to be 'Goldilocks'

  The connectors in terminal blocks have "wings" of metal to hold them in place.  Proper extraction technique involves applying the proper tool for the type of connector/wing.  Here's one example:  http://www.sjdiscounttools.com/lis56500.html  And there are the individual connector type tools like the ones you can see if you scroll down a bit on this page:  http://www.terminaltools.com/   I have found some of the latter types at NAPA outlets.
