[Vwdiesel] What are the various model designations?

[82 Diesel Westy]

The only Passat W8 I have seen and driven was FWD and
no TDI.  High test gas needed.

I have only seen 1 or 2 TDI Tourag (sp?) The are v10
TDI, right?
