[Vwdiesel] 97 TDI Chip and NYS Inspection

yes, NYS does...  and I need to inspect it too.  Does anyone in NYS have a chip in their TDI?  Are there any disabled diagnostics or EGR that will fail my OBDII Inspection??

Or you can disconnect the check engine light, unless your state does the ECU check where they actually take the reading off the ECU.

I'm glad my 89 Jetta doesn't HAVE a check engine light, cause I'm sure it would be on ;)
