[Vwdiesel] timing belt tension

I've had a belt on and off several times chasing a pulley wobble and then an injection pump timing issue.

I test the tension with the tool shown here: http://www.pbase.com/kneale_brownson/image/84722362

I used the directions shown here: http://www.pbase.com/kneale_brownson/image/84921061

The device is as easy to use, allowing for the cramped circumstances and visibility problems resulting therefrom on a VW diesel engine compartment, as any other gauge you might use in a similar circumstance, such as timing the injection pump.

Have you changed any T belts lately Kneale?
Did you use the tensioner to tighten the belt?
How easy was it to use?
