[Vwdiesel] Need Transmission-Stranded

I'm on the Road in San Bernardino, CA. and need a decent Transmission for an
84 Jetta Turbo Diesel.  Need to drive this car to Seattle and Transmission
is very questionable.
 
I could use any early Diesel Transmission and last resort I'll install a Gas
unit.  I have a vehicle and can run to pick up.  Anyone in this area have
anything or ideas where to get a transmission.  Feel free to call me if you
have any ideas.  Thanks.
